Zensar joins other Indian IT firms creating local jobs for Americans

Yet another Indian IT firm has announced its hiring plans for Americans. Zensar Technologies is creating 200 job opportunities for in Durham.

Zensar Technologies, a Pune-based IT services firm has announced the launch of its Durham-based customer delivery center. The new space can accommodate 200 employees. As part of company’s plan, Zensar will hire 100 local talent, to begin with. The provision will be doubled up to 200 by the end of 2019.

Sandeep Kishore, Zensar’s CEO and MD said, “North America is our biggest region and we are focused on making intense investments in this region. Some of our important customers are located in the vicinity, making the RTP a perfect location for our first nearshore customer delivery center here. We are committed to investing in building local talent that will strengthen our customer offerings. The facility will deliver on our business services, making us trusted partners to our customers.”

Durham is an ideal location for Zensar as it is in close proximity to the company’s key customers. Zensar is committed to creating jobs for the local talent. The customer delivery center in Durham is likely to be a major operation for the company in the US.

Venky Ramanan, Zensar’s executive vice president and head of platinum accounts said, “We look forward to training, learning and growing our operations in this regionacterized by growth, innovation, and diversity. Our team based in this location will be proactively working to enhance our relationship by engaging closely with the customer team.”

Zensar mainly focuses on generating revenue its key services in the US. These key verticals include manufacturing, retail, financial services and consumer businesses. Most of the Zensar’s US-based business has grown inorganically over the last few years. The company has acquired large properties and casualty insurance-focused Cynosure, design firm Foolproof and digital supply chain solutions firm called Keystone.

The planned site is in proximity to the top educational institutes and Raleigh-Durham International Airport. Which will help the company in hiring and nurturing the local talent. Zensar is one of the several Indian tech firms that have picked up this region. HCL and Infosys recently announced their big hiring plans in the same region.
