Windows Phone users will now be able to use popular iOS and Android apps, Instagram and Waze on their devices.
Microsoft announced the roll out of the photo sharing and GPS app for its Windows OS for smartphones.
According to ABC News, Facebook-owned Instagram app had been long awaited by Windows Phone users.
The Instagram app for Windows Phone works just like the Android and iPhone apps, although it doesn't include video-sharing features yet.
Meanwhile, Google-owned Waze, allows Windows Phone users to get traffic information from others on the road and drivers can also report traffic jams and accidents.
The software giant had recently announced another popular Twitter's Vine app for the Windows Phone, the report added.
