You can take Jio's 149 plan and get 2GB of data over 28 days
The Rs. 309 Jio plan gives you 1GB of data per day for 28 days
The Rs. 509 plan will give you 168GB of data on the first recharge
After a long free trial, Reliance Jio has finally started discontinuing services for people who don't paid for recharges yet. It is an ongoing process that will take a few more days to complete for all; but Reliance Jio has confirmed that its free-ride is coming to an end. On the Reliance Jio website and also the Jio app, you can see that there are only three prepaid options available right now; no postpaid plans are listed anymore.
That means that you have to get a recharge, but the options available are a lot more limited than Reliance Jio originally stated. In September, the company revealed prepaid and postpaid tariffs, with monthly plans at Rs. 149, then Rs. 299, Rs. 499, all the way up to Rs. 4,999 - eight monthly prepaid plans, and a similar number of postpaid plans.
In March, after announcing Jio Prime, the company unveiled its Prime plans, which again had a number of options for prepaid and some options for postpaid subscribers. Of these however, there were two monthly plans in particular - charging Rs. 303, and Rs. 499 respectively, which offered the users 1GB, and 2GB of data per day each.
Jio plans and offers
Now though, after the Jio Happy New Year Offer comes to a close, and the Jio Summer Surprise Offer was cancelled following a TRAI order, Jio has shifted focus to its Dhan Dhana Dhan offer, which gives 1GB data per day for Rs. 309, and 2GB data per day for Rs. 509, for 3 months (or more accurately, 84 days). Voice calling and national roaming are free, like Jio promised at launch, as are 100 SMS per day.
Today though, as we mentioned, these are the main plans available on the Jio website and app; and postpaid plans are no longer listed. You have one additional recharge plan now, a Rs. 149 prepaid recharge, which can be purchased by people who have not signed up for Jio Prime yet. The other two recharges require Jio Prime to proceed.
